About Carolina Petrini

Carolina Petrini is a recognized leader in the  business consulting and market research fields. Carolina has deep expertise in driving businesses and supporting brands at different stages of their life cycle with customized commercial strategies based on data analytics and consumer behavioral insights.

Currently, Carolina serves as President of Decode Consulting LLC, a boutique advisory firm whose clients include life sciences, research, media and publishing companies, as well as other consulting and advertising agencies. In her advisory role, Carolina had a core role in the global launch of pharmaceutical products in the therapeutic areas of migraine and osteoporosis. Carolina has performed commercial and analytics consulting to Amgen, Novartis, Esperion Therapeutics, Radius Health, Cardinal Health,ELOXX, new product development and commercial strategies for Google, Time/Meredith, WebMD, Everyday Health, Crossix, Sharecare, Curacity, Loews, Starwood, and other leading insights, media and publishing companies.

Carolina also serves as an advisor to the investment community in marketing strategy, market research, digital media, and technology applications. Carolina has also served as expert witness in high profile industry trials.

Prior to starting her consulting practice, Carolina was Vice President of Global Research at Everyday Health, Inc. In this capacity, Carolina was responsible for supporting the design of commercial strategies based on consumer and professional analytics for brands in multiple therapeutic areas for CRESTOR, PRADAXA, MIACARDIS, BENICAR, VYTORIN, LANTUS, NOVOLOG, APIDRA, TRADJENTA, VICTOZA, SYNVISC, REALIZE Lap Bands, GARMIN bands and trackers, shaping and supporting their commercial strategy at different times in their life cycle, from pre-launch planning to LOE.

Prior to joining Everyday Health, Carolina served as Senior Vice President of Marketing Solutions at comScore Inc, developing and leading the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Packaged Goods Verticals. At comscore, Carolina lead a team that provided innovative insights and research consulting to  Pfizer, Merck, Lilly, GSK, Schering-Plough, Forest, Berlex, Roche, Sanofi-Aventis, Abvie, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Foods, etc, among her top clients

 In previous roles, Carolina was the Director of Information Services at E-Centives, Senior Manager of Analytics at Empower IT, and Assistant Brand Manager at Laboratorios Bagó, Cardiovascular Franchis

Carolina earned an MBA Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University, in 1998 and a BS in Political Science and International Relations Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad del Salvador, Argentina in 1993.
