About Carolina

Carolina Petrini is a recognized commercial executive with more than 23 years of experience in launching, building and growing businesses and brands at different stages of their life cycle, creating successful commercial strategies based on market assessments, data analytics and consumer behavioral insights.

Carolina has led multi-functional teams in supporting life sciences, healthcare and technology companies, as well as other partner and advisory agencies. Most recently, Carolina served as Chief Commercial Officer at Aravive, Inc, a clinical stage company with a developments in platinum resistant ovarian cancer, clear cell renal cell carcinoma and pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

Prior to this role, Carolina served has robust expertise in pharma, medical devices and OTC development, in Oncology, Rare Diseases, CNS, Dermatology, Cardiovascular and Endocrinology, including core roles in 4 successful US/global launches. She has advised Google, Veeva/Crossix, Time/Meredith, WebMD, Everyday Health, Sharecare, and other leading Fortune 500 technology, media and publishing companies in groundbreaking product development. Carolina currently sits on the Board of Directors of REV Pharma, serves as an advisor to the investment community and has served as expert witness in high profile industry trials.

Prior to starting her advisory career, Carolina was a Global Senior Vice President at Everyday Health, Inc., the largest consumer healthcare portal and content developer. In this capacity, Carolina was responsible for supporting the design of commercial strategies based on consumer and professional analytics for brands in multiple therapeutic areas all the top 10 Global Bio-Pharma companies and their products, including CRESTOR ®, PRADAXA ®, MIACARDIS ®, BENICAR ®, VYTORIN ®, LANTUS ®, NOVOLOG

®, APIDRA®, TRADJENTA ®, VICTOZA ®, SYNVISC ®, REALIZE ®, shaping and supporting their commercial strategy at different times in their life cycle, from pre-launch planning to LOE. In particular, Carolina designed and built a technology based promotional effectiveness research methodology, which was a key driver of the firm’s rapid growth. Carolina was a member of the management team who took the company public in 2012.

Prior to joining Everyday Health, Carolina served as Senior Vice President of Marketing Solutions at comScore Inc, developing and leading the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Packaged Goods Verticals. Carolina joined the comScore team at the very early stages of the company conception, being part of the original management team who took the company public in 2007.

In previous roles, Carolina was held several marketing and strategy related positions, designed and implemented reporting platforms, developed syndicated and custom primary and secondary research methodologies, performed industry analyses, Category Management analysis, managed and trained data analysts, sales, and client services functions
